Refund policy


Mellow Japan accepts refunds after purchase but does not accept returns.

Below are the reasons why we do not accept returns.

  • All Mellow Japan products are manufactured in Japan and shipped from Japan.
  • All Mellow Japan products are manufactured and shipped from our factories in Japan after your order is placed.
  • Regarding shipping, all items are managed by Mellow Japan, so we do not generally accept returns due to the cost and time involved in returning items to Japan.

We have a 14-day refund policy, which means you have 14 days after receiving your item to request a refund.

To be eligible for a refund, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

To start a refund, you can contact us at mellowwetsuits@gmail.com. After contacting us via email, we will contact you with the way of refund.

If your refund is accepted, we will confirm the refund method. Please note that we do not accept returns and cannot be held responsible for fraudulent returns.

Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective or damaged, or if you receive the wrong item, we can evaluate the issue and make it right.


Exceptions / non-returnable items
Please note that we do not accept returns of our products or products other than our products.

If you have any questions or concerns regarding returns or specific products, please feel free to contact us.

Also, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.


Exchanges
The quickest way to ensure you get what you want is to request a refund from us and, if accepted, purchase a new item separately.


Refunds
After receiving your refund request, we will begin investigating the evidence images and purchase data. Please prepare images of the product package, images of the entire product, and images of damage to the product as proof images, and send them as attachments to the email address we will provide to you after requesting a refund.
We will notify you if your refund has been approved after inspection. If approved, your refund will be automatically refunded to your original payment method within 10 business days. Please note that it may also take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post your refund.
