Traditionally, winter wetsuits have used neoprene on the outer surface, since standard jersey materials tend to absorb water and leave the body feeling cold. However, neoprene has its weaknesses—it deteriorates quickly and is prone to damage.
Thanks to the development of WarmdArt, a heat-retaining thermal jersey material, jersey can now be used even for winter wetsuits.
Compared to neoprene, WarmdArt jersey is more durable and long-lasting. Its typical drawback—water absorption and coldness—has been greatly resolved through advanced water-repellent treatment.
In addition, WarmdArt’s heat-storage technology raises the surface temperature and significantly enhances warmth.
The outer fabric is a MELLOW-original jersey made with WarmdArt yarn, a thermal material that generates and retains heat using sunlight. It also features a high-performance water-repellent finish.
The inner lining is made with MELLOW’s fully original brushed material, GIGA MELLOW—a high-performance, lightweight fabric designed with every essential function in mind:
moisture-activated heat generation, stretch-activated heat, long-term heat retention, quick drying, and odor control.
An Inner Neck Flap is built into the neck area for added protection against water entry.
The ribbed wrist cuffs help prevent water infiltration and improve both durability and fit.
For the zipper, we use high-strength YKK components known for their reliability and longevity.
You can customize the colors for the Main Part, Accent Part, and Stitching.
Fabric thickness options include 5mm, 5×3mm, and 3mm.
